Zebra is using a new blend exclusive to Zebra called Formula 1425. It has less stretch than the Formula 8125 but still has the same speed Zebra Strings are known for. 

The Patented ZS Twist string uses counterclockwise (Z) and clockwise (S) twisted filaments bundled together to make a complete string. This balances the string to eliminate peep rotation. Also, the two colors make it more attractive and easier to separate for quick peep installation.

Why should you choose a Zebra string over a Tiger string?
A Zebra string is going to be 3-4 feet per second faster than a Tiger string. Although, it will have a bit more stretch than the Tiger string. So if you are looking for a fast durable string and don't mind a little more stretch, then the Zebra string is for you.
